Tsovik Grigoryan

Tsovik graduated Yerevan State University, Department of Mechanics and Mathematics. After graduation, she worked as a math teacher, and gained a lot of experience working with children. She trained with FAR’s children’s social service program in Armenia and received certificates in “Children and Family Protection, Standards of Child Care” and “Juvenile Case Management.” From 2007-2009 she worked at FAR as reserve social worker; from 2010-2011 she was camp counselor at FAR. As part of her training for her work in the Mer Hooys program, Tsovik completed a one year distance learning course in Social Work and Social Technology. Tsovik is married and has a son, a beautiful daughter and a grandson. She is with Mer Hooys since 2013. As the night mentor, her responsibilities include the social care of the children from dusk to dawn, supervising bathing time, the tidiness and hygiene of their clothes, their daily schedule, and also nurturing the children in the evenings and helping the children with homework.
