Syuzan Vardumyan

Our night mentor Syuzan Vardumyan has been with Mer Hooys since the opening of the Nakashian Children’s Support Center. She graduated from Armenian State Pedagogical University, the department of Pedagogy. For 15 years she worked as a teacher at schools in Armenia. For 5 years she worked at schools in Moscow and taught Armenian language at the State University of Moscow. She has a lot of experience working with children. Syuzan is a talented seamstress and has taught all of the girls how to sew, alter, redesign and mend their clothes. She is also a trained cosmetologist. Syuzan’s talents in the area of sewing and cosmetology have helped our teenagers learn to be self-confident in how they look, and feel good about themselves, especially for special occasions. She loves to give fashion advices to girls and they admit them with great pleasure and gratitude. Syuzana has a son.
