Stella Ayvazyan studied at the Faculty of Sociology at Yerevan State University from 1999 to 2005. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Social Work. Since 2004, she has worked with a number of international and non-governmental organizations, including World Vision, Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières), Médecins du Monde, and SOS Children’s Villages. She began her professional career as a social worker and later took on leadership roles as a team supervisor and coordinator. She has over 20 years of experience in the fields of child protection, support for displaced populations, and assistance to persons with disabilities. From 2016 to 2020, she served as a lecturer in social work at Yerevan State University. Since October 2024, she has been serving as Deputy Director and Head of the Professional Team at the Naghashyan Children’s Home Support Center. She is married and has three children.
